ABOUT ME

Dominick (he/him/his) is a New York City based lighting designer. Dominick's work has been seen at New York City Center, Guggenheim Museum, La Mama Experimental Theatre Club, Chain Theatre Festival, New York Theatre Festival, and venues across North America and Europe. Recent designs include work for Tom Gold Dance, Matthew Neenan, Megumi Eda, Ballet Hispánico and New Cosmopolitan Ensemble. He is the current lighting supervisor for Ballet Hispánico.

When he’s not working in the theater, Dominick might be in the kitchen, experimenting with spices he’s collected from his travels. Navigating Celiac Disease hasn’t slowed down his love for international cuisine. I
t’s only made him more inventive.

Dominick is also a dog lover, with a soft spot for Borzois and Ibizan Hounds. His appreciation for beauty and storytelling extends to the visual arts as well. He draws inspiration from a wide range of painters, including Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Tamara de Lempicka, and Vilhelm Hammershøi. Whether through light, flavor, or brushstroke, Dominick is drawn to anything that stirs the imagination and leaves a lasting impression.
